Want You Gone by Chris Brookmyre !

Want You Gone by Chris Brookmyre.

Published 20th April 2017

Hey everyone I have been away this weekend to see family so sadly havent been about to sketch but here is my review of want you gobe enjoy !

Want you dead has some great characters and plot but I did find it took 10 or so chapters to get started so a little slow but worth the wait.

Once the story got going it really did get going with a bang and the slower start makes alot more sense.

The books start by introducing different hackers and their stories and then things get complicated for Sam Morpeth a big time online hacker and small time person in the real world.

Sam had to grow up fast when her mum was sent to jail and she was left looking after her little sister, but when her online handle “buzzkill” is cracked and Sam starts to get blackmailed the by another unknown hacker with information that could get her arrested or worse.

Sam turns to Jack a journalist and the only person she can trust to try and break the law for the blackmailer and also find out who is blackmailing her , while promising to give Jack an inside story to Buzzkill if he helps her.

Sam is scared and worries for her sister but also a clever and deep characterwhich I loved and was really rooting for her.

I brillent read so many twist and turns, once it got going this book was hard to put down. Alot of deep thought and understanding has gone it to the characters.

Also leaves a creepy feel that nothing is save online no matter what you 5ry to do to protect your detail.

Highly recommend 4 out of 5

Review: GIRL IN THE ICE by Robert Bryndza !

GIRL IN THE ICE : Dective Erika Foster. By Robert Bryndza

Published 16th feb 2016 ,396 pages.

When a young boy discovers the body of a women beneath a think sheet of ice in a south London park, Dective Erika Foster is called in to lead the case.

Eye under the ice sketch

When the victim turns out to be from a well to do family Erika has pressure to not dig to deep but when more bodies are found but with no apparent connections, Erika must connect the dots before the killer closes in on her .

A great start to what I think will be an interesting series , well writern with the charactors interesting, relistic and with plenty of depth.

The plot is a complicated and political, with Erika getting preseures from all sides, but Erikia is determond and stuborn which gets her in trouble but makes great reading and endge of the seat morements.

Erika personal life has a huge inpact on her work, due to her been the lead on an opertion that went south and reasulted in her husband and other colleagues been killed. This has resulted in her blaming her self and she is always trying to prove herself and push herself to get the killer.

A brillent engaging read by Robert Brynadza that made me wish I could read faster , a complete shock at who the killer was just didny see it coming. Truely worth the time to read, now im of to get the second book in the series .

I would hugely recommend to anyone that like crime , thrillers or series with a strong female personality

I give this book 5 out of 5

Finally got The Caller by Chris Carter

Woop woop !

I have finally got The Caller by Chris Carter and I so cant wait to read it, I have read all his other books

Book description:

After a tough week, Tanya Kaitlin is looking forward to a relaxing night in, but as she steps out of her shower, she hears her phone ring.  The video call request comes from her best friend, Karen Ward. Tanya takes the call and the nightmare begins.

Karen is gagged and bound to a chair in her own living room.  If Tanya disconnects from the call, if she looks away from the camera, he will come after her next, the deep, raspy, demonic voice at the other end of the line promises her.

As Detectives Robert Hunter and Carlos Garcia
investigate the threats, they are thrown into a rollercoaster of evil, chasing a predator who scouts the streets and social media networks for victims, taunting them with secret messages and feeding on their fear.

Robert Hunter is one of my favorite series characters and such a good show of Carters great writing, which is really addictive, while dark and though prevocking. It will be hard to beat his last book but we will see as I have heard a lot of hype about how awesome this book is and is a Sunday Times number one best seller !!

The Caller has so just gone to the top of my must read list and of course when I have finished ill let you all know how good it is.
